Following up on XE’s Halloween Countdown, one of my favorite toys ever. This was the unofficial mascot of the State Park office where I used to work…we would terrorize small children with it while they were waiting to go on a cave tour. We were evil bastards.

…today, I got to ride a segway. ATN is testing one as an option for get around campus quickly for tech help. Due to Paul Jones, we got some one on one time with it. So incredibly cool

I see that Jean has linked from my old blog to this one. What do those of you who are visiting both (or have visited both) think of the new one? I still need to play with template a bit more to personalize it, but overall…what’s the verdict?

Email woes…

So we’re going on 26 hours with no email on campus, and you can tell people seem disconnected. Profs can’t send out reminders of assignments, classmates can’t plan things or send articles back and forth…it’s a real pain in the ass. Hopefully it doesn’t go another 26 hours, but I’m not betting on it. Sounds like it was a pretty terrible hardware/software crash. For those who want to see the status of the email server:
