It’s a girl!

We’ve put off an official blog announcement until now, but it just can’t wait any longer:

It’s a girl!!!

πŸ™‚

This is an older scan, but I haven’t had time to put up the newest ones, so…this will do as a placeholder. Betsy and I are expecting a little girl, due Dec. 19th. We are both so completely thrilled, and excited, and scared. But mostly thrilled and excited. πŸ™‚

Here’s the rules: No Pink. No Frilly dresses. No dating until she’s 25. Got it?

And she appears to be doing the robot … No more Devo in the OB-GYN’s office, you two!

Congrats a million times over. You won’t believe how fun (read “hard”) it is!

WOW. What a great first photo! Much more recognizable that most ultrasounds. I’m imagining a scene in the doctors office where the first few shots don’t come out just right, so you grab the wand to get just the perfect perspective for your blog.

YIPPEEEEE!!! Congratulations to you and your wife. Daughters and fathers always have a really special bond. πŸ™‚

You know that we’re all totally going to buy you pink frilly baby stuff now, right?

Wahoo! So glad to hear things are going well. And I’m totally jealous: that ultrasound looks like a baby – mine looks like an alien!

Hey, if you get overwhelmed with the pink and the frilly, I’ve got some lovely blue things that were handed down from friends who just had a boy. Mine’ll be growing out of them just as yours needs ’em!

Congratulations! Looks like she might be sucking her thumb in this shot. My 2nd girl did that in several ultrasound shots. That is the coolest.

I’m with Steven though: no pink? no frills? good luck with that. πŸ™‚
