I’m seriously considering getting a Timbuk2 Laptop Messenger bag for my forthcoming travels. I love my current laptop bag (a Waterfield sleeve with strap) but I’m needing something with a bit more room. The only thing I’m undecided on, really, is the color/pattern. So, blogosphere: which of the below do you like best? It’s clear that I like the dark orange, and earth tones…but I just can’t make up my mind. So: which do you like best? Vote in the comments!

I like the orange and brown, or the orange and purple, with the double orange stripes. Because I like orange. ๐
I like the first one – 2 orange + 1 brown stripe
Brown + green – it’ll hide dirt way better than the orange.
the orange/brown ones look like pumpkin pie. i really like the brown/green one.
The second one down with two brown and one orange. Of course, I’m impartial to brown and would probably go all brown. ๐
Have fun.
Orange/brown/orange, but then I like brighter colors and the orange in the brown/orange/brown combo seems to fade in on itself because of the brown. I’m sure the colors will look different in real life, however.
I like the first (orange and brown) but prefer the 4th (brown and green)
I just ordered an orange backpack. Just FYI, in case you don’t want to match for three days at IL. ๐
I like the purple/green/orange bag. It reminds me of Mardi Gras
My wife and I own a small Timbuk2 bag in the brown/green/brown scheme.
If you’re going to use the bag on daily basis, then my suggestion would be to choose the color that won’t show dirt easily. I have a brown color version for a few months now and glad I made that decision.
I like the orange and gray one, myself. ๐
I’ll also echo what a few others have said – the orange will probably show dirt more than a darker color would. Though it does have the benefit of being more visible. And in my book, visibility trumps how often you gotta wash it .
Of course, take what I say with a grain of salt. Since I got my iPhone, my reasons for lugging a bag of any kind with me have pretty much disappeared.
orange/brown/orange, brown/orange/brown or orange/grey/orange. I want grey/orange/grey. Also, I like orange.
I like either of the tri-color models. Keep in mind – I am colorblind!
Brown and Green
Orange is my favorite color, and these are all nice–but I’m liking the tri-tones best.
I like the orange-grey-orange scheme. The others remind me of Charlie Brown, Mardi Gras, and Rasta-mons. Personally, I’d be looking at either black or blue combos, so – ? ๐
Only a post about a bag would bring me out of blog-reading/commenting hibernation, Griffey. Thanks!
I vote for the orange & grey (second last pic). Because it’s teh awesomest.
The first:
Orange/brown/orange
The second:
Brown/orange/brown
(Love this bags, I own 3 Timbuk2’s! =))
