The coolest movie ever.

This is the coolest trailer I’ve ever seen.

I have no idea what this is about, I don’t understand any of it. BUT, if anyone out there wants to translate, I’d love to know.

snipped from RPGnet’s Tangency:

Casshern’ is directed by Kiriya Kazuaki, famous Japanese advertisement photographer and husband of singer Utada Hikaru. ‘Casshern’ has already finished its shooting 2 months ago and are now in post-production. This movie is inspired by the old popular Japanese cartoon series ‘New Superhero Casshern’ in the 70’s. Karasawa Toshiaki is one of the main actors. It will be released next April in Japan.

Now you know. And knowing’s half the battle.

Yo Joe!

I didn’t know whether they were gonna form Voltron or announce the week’s theme ingredients. It’s like they threw every Japanese obsession into one movie. “Alright guys, we need a cold, distopian future, katanas, giant robots, otherwordly mysticism, people jumping 20 feet up in the air doing backflips, more robots…”
